Opis
After few months of 1st World War, front have stabilized at the line of rivers Rawka and Bzura (few kilometres from this place), and fights have changed their character into trenches warfare. The front was here from December 1914 to July 1915 when Russian Army have retreated. Many villages were completely destroyed, thousands of soldiers were killed. Even now, after almost hundred years, you can find many signs of the Great War, such as remains of trenches in the forests, war cemeteries, names of villages (Okopy - Trenches, Reduta Wojenna - Military Redoubt).
Here's the war cemetery from 1st World War, located at the edge of the forest near village Okopy. Cemetery is divided into two parts - one is sorrounded by a dike, where probably officers are burried. In the second part, you can see graves, where common soldiers are burried.
The geocache is hidden at the edge of cemetery and forest, in the tree stump.
