When I was a kid, my grandma used to bring me here for walks. Manor house
had already been abandoned then, but it was in quite good condition. What is
interesting there was still a lot of equipment inside... oak cabinets, rocking chair,
or chest of letters and postcards to Raczynski family. When I visited this manor
house around 2000, nothing remained of the mentioned equipment, and the building
began to go into total disrepair. Finally the ruination become a reality - the roof
collapsed and the walls cracked... This is unfortunately an agony of this place...
Once I met there by chance a person associated with the family Raczynski. I have
heard that the current condition of the manor is the result of succession disputes.
I strongly advise against entering inside, because everything here is close to collapse.
There are a lot of loose bricks which can fall directly on your head! Admire the architecture
and sorrow for the former magnificence must suffice. Apart from the manor house the
surrounding savage orchard is also worth visiting (very beautiful especially in spring)... I
recommend the walk down the path towards the picturesque meandering river which
has also a beautiful name - Okrzesza.
