Martial necropolis. A memorial of many lost warriors, Polish and Soviet. Founded in 1939 became a place of rest for killed by the time of warfares on Oksywie (Gdynia). It's placed in Gdynian district, Redłowo. Exactly here with their legendary commander Stanisław Dąbek rest heroic protectors of Gdynia and victims of mass murder in Piaśnica. Cemetery on Legionów Street is also place of rest for deliverers of the city who were killed by the time of fight in March 1945.
Furthemore in Soviet part of cemetery was placed a monument, called by Gdynians “Natasha”, that is Mounment of Gratitude. Came into being in 50s sculpture presents a woman holding a banner. She was standing originally in representative place on Kościuszko's Square, opposite to building of Naval Command. “Natasha” was made by Marian Wnuk and is quite typical example of art of period of socialist realism.
