Opis
This uncomplicated multi-cache leads to memorial sites from the II World War in Leszno. The first site is a monument dedicated to the soldiers of "Kampinos" group of the Home Army (Armia Krajowa) and the inhabitants of Leszno murdered by the Nazis during the years 1939-1944. (see: Zdjęcie 1). The second site is the Leszno parish cementery where lie soldiers of the 84 Infantry Regiment killed in action in September 1939 and partisans of the "Kampinos" group (see: Zdjęcie 2). It is also worth knowing that the Leszno cementery was the site of archeological excavations from the bronze age (1000 BC). Unfortunately there is no sigh of this now.
The monument is in the centre of Leszno near the end stop of the 719 suburban bus. The cementery is a while away (behind the church, in the direction of Warsaw). The basic coordinates given above lead to a micro container where the coordinates of the second (and last) container are hidden. Seek for the micro container under your feet (not in the bushes)! Masking action highly recommended but it is just the matter of quick look and remembering 6 digits. The container needs not be opened - the coordinates are visible from the outside. It contains just the part "after the dot", the remaining elements are identical as in the base coordinates.
The second stage contains the proper container. It is hidden near a withered tree with two main branches (buried shallowly to the east).
This Leszno-Centre cache can be treated as the starting point or a stop-over for other caches hidden near the yellow and blue trails of the Kampinoski Forest.
