Description
The brick factory is located in a place called once "Folwark Białuty" quite near to Leszno. It is now completely ruined and a lot of weads cover the whole area.
The history of this place can be deduced from a book by fr. Waldemar Wojdecki - History of Leszno and Kampinoska Forest (Lumen, 1998). It contains information that around 1893, the current at that time owner of Leszno and Białuty has donated one million bricks from his local brick factory for the construction of the Leszno Catholic church (Leszno has also a Mariavite church). It is thus probable that it is in this brick factory where the bricks for the current Leszno church were produced.
