W sobotnie popołudnie, 30 marca 2024, przy wielkim entuzjazmie i zaangażowaniu mieszkańców wioski w Waarder uroczyście odsłonięto pierwszą mozaikową ławkę. Pod czujnym okiem około stu osób, ciężka ławka została ustawiona na swoim ostatecznym miejscu, obok Domu Wszystkich.
Projekt został zrealizowany z ogromnym zaangażowaniem przez zespół wolontariuszy, którzy przepracowali niezliczone godziny nad „mozaikami” ławki, wyposażonymi w kolorowe obrazy odnoszące się do wsi Waarder i otaczających ją krajobrazów.
Aby podkreślić uroczystość tej chwili, obecni przed odsłonięciem odśpiewali dwie zwrotki hymnu Waarder. Bezpośrednio obok banku umieszczono dwie duże tablice z nazwiskami sponsorów i wszystkich osób, które przyczyniły się lub współpracowały przy realizacji banku.
On Saturday afternoon, March 30, 2024, the first mosaic bench in Waarder was festively unveiled. Under the watchful eye of over hundred village inhabitants, the heavy bench was placed in its final location next to the Huis van Alles.
The project was realized with enormous dedication by a team of volunteers, who worked countless hours on the bench mosaics, illustrating Waarder and its landscape. Directly next to the bank, two large tiles have been placed with the names of the sponsors and all those who contributed or collaborated in the creation of the bank.
