Opis
Ruda Sułowska is a small village located picturesquely in the valley of the river Barycz. It is surrounded with fish ponds which are part of the nature reserve "Stawy Milickie". The village has a fish farm and a public fishery for those who like fresh fish. Apart from this, the place is known as the 'Lower Silesian stork capital', as every year there are 8-10 stork nests here. The birds can find plenty of food here, thus having excellent conditions for growth and breeding. Besides, it is noteworthy that the Milicz Ponds are home to 134 species of nesting birds and another several dozen species stop here during their migrations, which makes it a great place for bird lovers.
