It is also proof oflack of propermemory and how these memories could change throughout the time. After WWII theBurial Site was forgotten buy the locals and slowly start to degrade. Before1939 75% of citizens of the Otwock was Polish Jews after 1945 remains only2%. For nearly 60 years this place remain untouched and slowly turn into woods.But now since local citizens recognize it is part of their heritage burial sitehas been recognized once again.
