Tablet at the top of Lopiennik (1069 m) was mounted in 1975 by PTTK Lesko. It commemorated the trip to Lopiennik completed in 1833 by Wincent Pol, accompanied by Seweryn Goszczynski and Zygmunt Kaczkowski. This tablet, disappeared from the summit.
It was September 2000, and as every year the Poloniny - students tourist event has started in Bieszczady. I was on one of the groups, and one of the participants found this tablet in Buk, in a shed next to the barn where we stayed. We took it to Lopienka where all the groups met in the end of the event. In 12 April 2008 the tablet eturned to Lopiennik. Similar tablets are in Cisna, Bystre, Kalnica, Rzepedz, Lesko... maybe more.
Geocache is hidden at the summit, few metres from the tablet
