Description PL

Garbarnia parowa, założona w 1920 roku przez Rudolfa Hugona Ekerta.
W 1925 r. garbarnię oraz znajdujący się naprzeciwko dom mieszkalny kupują Zofia i Antoni Kozłowscy.
W zależności od sezonu garbarnia zatrudniała od 9 do 11 osób.
Przed wybuchem II wojny światowej garbarnia nastawiona była na farbowanie chromowe i roślinne.
Po 1945 r. garbowano skóry świńskie do celów galanteryjnych.
Z czasem została częścią Łódzkich Zakładów Przemysłu Skórzanego „Skogar”.
