Wbrew powszechnym opiniom, Przełęcz Spalona w Górach Bystrzyckich, wcale nie znajduje się w miejscu, gdzie stoi schronisko Jagodna. Prawdziwa przełęcz to skrzyżowanie sześciu leśnych dróg, głęboko w lesie, ale łatwo do niego dojść, bo przechodzą tędy szlaki turystyczne.
Contrary to common belief, the Spalona Pass is not at all the place where the Jagodna tourist hostel stand. The true pass is the crossing of six forest tracks deep in the wood, but there is easy access to it as it crossed by tourist trails
