Description PL

Wodociągowa wieża ciśnień na terenie zabytkowego osiedla górniczego Nikiszowiec.

Nikiszowiec powstał w latach 1908 - 1918, według projektu architektów-urbanistów Emila i Georga Zillmann z Charlottenburga. Osiedle przeznaczone było dla około 1200 rodzin i miało być zaopatrzone w pełną infrastrukturę.

Wieża stoi naprzeciw bramy wjazdowej na teren szybu "Nickisch". Ma dość typową obudowę zbiornika i specyficzny, rzadko spotykany ażurowy trzon.
