Obelisk in Charzewice (part of Stalowa Wola city) is a place where Germans lose 25 hostages on 20 October 1943. It was a German response to the homicide of Martin Fuldner by two Poles, who executed on him and his family the judgment of the Underground Court of the Polish Goverment. In 1974 at the place of genocide monument and cross were erected. On the basis of the monument there is a boulder with the eagle without a crown and the words "For Poland, Freedom and the People of Poland."
