Insurgents Oak is a 300-year huge oak tree which served as gallows; young Polish insurgents, chased here and captured after the defet at Zaborów Leśny on 14.04.1863 and Górka were hanged by their Cossack captors.

The mighty tree is an impressive sight, surely worth a 1,5 - 3,5 km walk or a bike ride from the nearest parking.
Please note the coordinates shown above DO NOT point to the cache location. Instead, they show the location of a small container with the main cache coords hidden inside. The container itself rests behind a small shrine shadowed by a huge pinetree. It's a lovely place in the forest some 1,5 km from the final cache. The final cache is a plastic box, shallowly buried under the ground behind a tree visible from the trail.
