This cache is a bit unusual, also because of its location. I won’t write here long stories about the problem of homeless animals in Poland, but everyone who is at least a little interested in it, knows that the case is really serious.
Milanówek Animal Shelter is a rather small one (for Polish conditions) but it doesn’t mean that only a few animals live here. A few dozen dogs and usually about ten cats wait for new homes here. Many of them are here already for long years, although most of them are really wonderful animals ! Maybe one of them would find home by one of cachers ?

The cache is located in the forest, near the shelter. Every Saturday the volunteers walk here with the dogs from the shelter. The previous cache was robbed some time ago, together with its camouflage, so the current one is a bit harder to get. It is located a bit deeper in the wood and it can be a little bit more problematic to reach it.
Off course, you can also visit the shelter itself when visiting the cache. You can also bring some dog food then, but the best way to help would be to adopt one of the animals from the shelter !
