Tczew jest jednym z najstarszych miast na Pomorzu. Jego historia sięga 1198 r.

Rynek znajduje się na Starym Mieście przy ulicy Plac Hallera, zabudowany jest uroczymi secesyjnymi kamienicami z XIX i XX wieku.

Rynek jest centralnym placem, który stanowi serce Starego Miasta. Otoczony malowniczymi kamienicami o różnych kolorach i stylach architektonicznych, rynek emanuje urokiem i historią. To miejsce, gdzie można zanurzyć się w atmosferze miasta, spacerować po brukowanych uliczkach, zatrzymać się na dłuższą chwilę aby obserwować codzienne życie, oraz rzekę Wisłę.
