(Friedrich Wilhelm Heinrich) Alexander von Humboldt (ur. 14 września 1769 w Berlinie, zm. 6 maja 1859 tamże) – niemiecki przyrodnik i podróżnik, jeden z twórców nowoczesnej geografii. Jako jeden z pierwszych postulował ochronę przyrody, jest twórcą określenia: „pomnik przyrody.

Humboldt był częstym gościem w Zatoniu.
