Description PL

 

 

Krzyżacy opanowując Pomorze, chcieli z Chojnic uczynić niezdobytą twierdzę. Umocnienia, które otaczały serce miasta kamienno-ceglanym murem były wyposażone w 3 bramy i 24 baszty. Dodatkowo, dostępu do miasta broniła fosa.

Do dziś przetrwała jedna brama – Człuchowska – w której mieści się Muzeum Historyczno-Etnograficzne.
