-Żono święta, żono sroga, ja i w domu Ci pomogę! Tylko powiedz gdzie mój Rum..ja bez niego jak bez nóg, nie zatańczę, nie zaśpiewam, bieda...bieda, bieda, bieda.
I za ucho żona ciągnie, i do domu mnie wyrzuca, i za wszarz mnie dziołcha bierze, jak ja dla niej jest rycerzem! Ja się za nią pobić mogę! raz złamałem sobie nogę, jak po rumie z konia spadłem...ile obelg od niej zjadłem..o ja biedny, nieszczęśliwy, ja bez rumu, ach kobiety...!
Żona Rum schowała dobrze, by się mąż już napić nie mógł, by go znaleźć, mój keszerze, idź na kordy, szukaj w lesie, szukaj drzewa iglastego, a gdy znajdziesz już to drzewo, zdobądź kesza co jest blisko no i śmigaj na ognisko :)
