Description PL

Znajdują się tu dwa stawy stworzone w ramach programu małej retencji wodnej na terenach leśnych.

Mała retencja polega na gromadzeniu wody w niewielkich zbiornikach poprzez zatrzymywanie lub spowalnianie spływu wód, przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu i wspieraniu rozwoju krajobrazu naturalnego

Swoja nazwę "Martwe Stawy" dostały z uwagi na to, że nie ma w nich żadnych ryb, choć istnieją już parę ładnych lat. Prawdopodobnie spowodowane jest to jakimiś rudami żelaza zawartymi w glebie co powoduje brak życia w tych stawach.
