Description PL

Park Miejski w Zamościu jest czołowym modernistycznym założeniem zieleni w Polsce. Powstał na terenach pofortecznych w latach 1919-1926, wg konkursowego projektu opracowanego przez Waleriana Kronenberga. Park o pow. 11,2 ha swoim zasięgiem obejmował bastion IV z nadszańcem i słoniczoło tego bastionu oraz rawelin pomiędzy bastionami IV i V. Posiada częściowo geometryczny układ powiązany osiami z miastem. Główne elementy układu to dwa skrzyżowane tzw. partery.
