The idea of establishment of the park in Kowal appeared in the 30s of the twentieth century. The Catholic League took the initiative. All the work was done by Jews supervised by Germans. They destroyed the houses standing at the park, dug the pond in the shape of a Roman window. They dug 4 deep wells in the pond, the whole was enclosed by a wooden fence. The northern part of the park underwent various troubles in the late 70/80s of the twentieth century. The edge of the pond was bricked and the fountain was installed. After a few years the banks burst. It was a depressing view. There was a modernization in 2001. The shape of the tank was changed, the edges were reinforced and 2 fountains were installed. In the centre of the pond there is a bridge. After more than 60 years the plans were completed.
