Źródło obfituje w krystalicznie czysta, zimną wodę. Zabudowane w kamienną studnię tworzy kapliczkę ku czci św. Anny. Według podań święta ukazała się budowniczym, którzy spierali się o nadanie patrona w nowo wybudowanym kościele nieopodal szczytu.
