O miejscu:
Wzgórze Gajowickie (niem. Hardenberg-Hügel, „Kopiec Hardenberga”, wys. 139,7 m n.p.m.) – sztucznie utworzone wzniesienie na osiedlu Gajowice we Wrocławiu. Ukształtowane w latach 1928–1932 jako rekultywacja miejskiego wysypiska śmieci. Znajduje się wzdłuż kolejowej Towarowej Obwodnicy Wrocławia. Jest częścią Promenady Hugo Richtera, będącej istotnym elementem ukształtowania w mieście sieci tras pieszo-rowerowych. Wzgórze Gajowickie nazywane jest przez mieszkańców miasta potocznie Górką Pafawag od pobliskiego już nieistniejącego stadionu klubu Pafawag Wrocław, którego patronem była Państwowa Fabryka Wagonów. Niemiecka nazwa wywodzi się od patrona ulicy, która przy wzgórzu kończyła swój bieg: Hardenbergstrasse (obecna jej nazwa to ul. Bednarda Pretficza).

About the place:
Gajowickie Hill (German: Hardenberg-Hügel, "Hardenberg's Mound", height 139.7 m above sea level) - an artificially created hill in the Gajowice estate in Wrocław. Developed in the years 1928–1932 as a reclamation of the city landfill. It is located along the Wrocław railway freight bypass. It is part of the Hugo Richter Promenade, which is an important element of the city's network of walking and cycling routes. Gajowickie Hill is colloquially called Górka Pafawag by the city's inhabitants, after the nearby, no longer existing stadium of the Pafawag Wrocław club, whose patron was the National Wagon Factory. The German name comes from the patron saint of the street that ended at the hill: Hardenbergstrasse (its current name is Bednard Pretficza Street).
