Będąc w Waarder warto wybrać się na spacer i lody do pobliskiej miejscowości – Driebruggen (dosłownie: Trzy Mosty). Jest ona malowniczo położona nad rzeką Dubbele Wiericke. W Driebruggen nie zachowały się już prawie żadne historyczne budynki. Wyjątkami są Hooge Huys przy Dubbele Wiericke, dawny dom lekarza przy Kerkweg (1885) i dawny ratusz (1928). Uwaga na jeżyny!
When in Waarder, it's worth taking a walk and grabbing an ice cream in the nearby town of Driebruggen (literally 'Three Bridges'). It is charmingly situated along the Dubbele Wiericke river. There are almost no historical buildings left in Driebruggen, with a few exceptions: Hooge Huys on the Dubbele Wiericke, the former doctor's house on Kerkweg (built in 1885), and the former town hall (constructed in 1928). Watch out for blackberries!
