Ksiądz Emil Szramek (1887 - 1942). Polski ksiądz katolicki, organizator życia narodowego. Budowniczy katedry w Katowicach. Inicjator budowy Biblioteki Śląskiej. Aresztowany przez Gestapo i zamordowany w obozie w Dachau. Beatyfikowany w 1999 roku.
