Description PL

Falochrony zbudowane zostały w latach 1818-1829. Ichprojektantem i budowniczym był inżynier J. Günter. Realizacja projektu znacznie poprawiła bezpieczeństwo żeglugi i spowodowała samopogłębienie nurtu ujściowego odcinka Świny. Dla współczesnych był to swoisty cud techniki budowlanej. Po przebudowach długość falochronu wschodniego wynosi 1491 m, zaś zachodniego 900 m
