Podobno jest to najbardziej rzeźbiarski budynek w Tychach. 

Zaprojektowany został na rzucie dwóch wydłużonych trapezów. W jego konstrukcji zastosowano specjalne prefabrykowane ramki żelbetowe.

W latach 60 XX wieku było to miejsce spotkań tyskich elit.

Obecni pełni on rolę pawilonu handlowo - usługowego.

Autorem projektu jest Marek Dziekoński.
