 W tym domu mieszkał i tworzył fizyk Ewald Georg Jurgen von Kleist.

Dziekan katedry wynalazł "Butelkę Kleista".

Stworzył prototyp kondensatora elektrycznego.

W późniejszym czasie nazywano ją "Butelką Lejdejska".

Wszystko to stało się 11 października 1745r.
