W tym budynki w czasie okupacji hitlerowcy zamordowali 40 -stu mieszkańców miasta. W hołdzie i ku pamięci usieczono na budynku tablicę pamiątkową.

Do niedawna mieściła się tu restauracja ,, pod łańcuchami".
