Beschrijving
This BurialSite is silent witness of the great pastof Otwock Jewish society. Witness of their growth, but also of their suddenend. It is also proof of lack of propermemory and how these memories could change throughout the time. After WWII theBurial Site was forgotten buy the locals and slowly start to degrade. Before1939 75% of citizens of the Otwock was Polish Jews after 1945 remains only2%. For nearly 60 years this place remain untouched and slowly turn into woods.But now since local citizens recognize it is part of their heritage burial sitehas been recognized once again.
