Ścieżka przedstawia historyczne miejsca na Lipinach - miejsca odnowione, lecz także te zaniedbane, które są równie ciekawe. W ostatnich latach na Lipinach jest odnawianych coraz więcej budynków, są już plany na odnowienie kolejnych.

 

Ścieżka przedstawia różne miejsca m.in. dawny przemysł: Huta Silesia, która w latach świetności zatrudniała ponad 18 tysięcy ludzi, historię kopalni Matylda, dawne budynki publiczne czy też mural z Francuskiego filmu który tutaj nakręcono. 

 

Lipiny przez wielu uznawane są za najniebezpieczniejszą dzielnicę w Polsce. Czy tak rzeczywiście jest każdy oceni sam po podjęciu ścieżki. Ulica Chorzowska rozdziela dzielnicę na dwie części - gorszą i lepszą.
