Krótka przerwa w Platamonie ujawniła istnienie starej linii kolejowej (jej opis do znalezienia w necie). Jak ktoś lubi spacerować (można też rowerem), to temat idealny :)  Na obu końcach znajdują się miejsca do odpoczynku (czyli lokale w stylu greckiego siga-siga, za tunelem lub wzdłuż promenady), w środku trasy Hotel Kymata z dobrą restauracją. Widoki, morze, w sezonie w diabły słońca i ludzi.
