Our next cache is also dedicated to history but this time
ancient history. It is placed near a prehistoric burial site which
was used between ~500BC and 2nd century for burial of (most likely)
the local elite (eg. wealthier land owners). It is remarkable that
this burial site has been used consequently throughout a number of
different cultural periods. Bronze jewelery, spearheads and arms
have been excavated from this site between 1984-1986 and are now on
display in the Estonian History Museum. To learn more visit the

Access is marked with brown tourist attraction signs but there is
no proper car parking available (leave your car at the roadside).
From there you need to walk 160m to the burial site.
Do not
dig,
do not move any stones, respect the place.
Container is a plastic box (dimensions: 16 x 10 x 4 cm) put in a
vapour permeable membrane sachet - it should allow the box to dry
fast after getting wet - we are testing how this method works so
please do NOT add any plastic bag.
