W Riva del Garda, poniżej placu  Piazza Garibaldi jest woda twierdza Rocca di Riva , wybudowany już w 12. wieku . Dzisiaj  Muzeum Miejskie  w kolekcjach na temat historii miasta i regionu. Istnieją również pokoje, które są wykorzystywane do organizowania wykładów i konferencji . Twierdza jest otoczona fosą i wyposażony w most zwodzony .
