Kościół św. Józefa stoi w najwyższym punkcie Sandomierza. Wybudowany w XVII w. dla założonego tu w XIII w. klasztoru Franciszkanów. W krypcie kościoła spoczywa od 1698 r. cudownie i tajemniczo zachowane od rozkładu ciało Teresy Izabeli Morsztynówny. Można je zobaczyć, jeśli poprosi się siostry zakonne lub księży. Kościół zdobią wymalowane po mistrzowsku ołtarze ufundowane w początkach XIX w. przez bpa Adama Burzyńskiego, niegdyś kapelana w armii Napoleona. Proboszczem tego kościoła był bł. ks. Antoni Rewera - męczennik zamordowany przez niemieckich nazistów w 1942 r.
St. Joseph's church located on the top of the highest hill of Sandomierz was built in XVII-th century for Franciscan Monastery established here in XIII-th century. In the tomb one may see misteriously preserved body of Teresa Izabela Morstin who died in 1698. You may ask the nun or the priest for visiting this place. There are altars founded in XIX-th century by Bishop Adam Burzynski - former chaplin of Napoleon's army. The pastor of this church was blessed Anthony Rewera - martyr killed by German Nazists in 1942.
