Park niedźwiadków

Ten skwer w środku miasta utworzony został w 1950 roku. W latach 60 tyszanie zwali go "Skwerem Łataka" - od nazwiska dyrektora firmy - inwestora, budującej miasto. To właśnie jemu tyszanie zawdzięczają pojawienie się w parku niedźwiadków.

Południowym obszarem parku jest Aleja Niepodległości. Jej starodrzew to pozostałość po historycznym trakcie łączącym Tychy z Paprocanami.
