Back in the days Tłuszcz used to be a very important place on a map of polish industrial and trade facilities. The Saint Petersburg – Warsaw Railway that runs through the city since the XIX century fueled the expansion of industry during the socialist time (years 1945-1989). The railway was a conveyance to most of large transports to and from former USSR. There were even roumors that there's a plan to create a Tluszcz voivodeship. Unfortunately after 1989, when the communist regime fell apart all the workplaces had to face a new era of capitalism. It meant that every workplace must have not only not generated any loss but also make some kind of profit. With an enormous number of large western companies coming to polish market a lot of polish workplaces had to make cuts in employment, some had to change their trade, but unfortunately a great number of them slowly ended their activity.

 

One of these workplaces is the one where this cache is hidden. I don't know exactly what was produced in this plant, but surely a lot of workers has passed through this place.

Currently this place decays and the ruins of former buildings are a kingdom of nearby drunks and homeless people.

 

 

 

Now about the cache itself - it's a small box wrapped in a plastic bag, hidden somewhere on the terrain placed under the coordinates. You can get to this place with a car, however I suggest to get there through the Nowa street, since Kolejowa st is very damaged. If you want to you can drive almost to the very cache, however you might want to park a car down the street and go to the cache on foot, so you won't attract the muggles around (sometimes there can be really a lot of people wandering around)/ I strongly encourage you to look for this cashe at night or early in the morning since it's a popular spot among nearby drunks and homeless people. You might want to avoud the courious eyes of people in the building that's most on the north. It seems to be a 'dormitory' for homeless.

 

The cache is hidden in a characteristic spot somewhere near the big inscription on the wall that says "I MAJA ŚWIĘTO PRACY" which means 'First May - The Workers Day'. It's under a cement block that's placed horizontaly. Everything should be clear after you browse through the spoiler photos. And if you look for the cache at night a flashlight might come in handy.
