Description EN PL
You are coming to Modlin Fortress, and return clean? No way! We always are coming back dirty, muddy and scrathced. This is the place where you can get dirty too.

During expansion of the fortress according to the project of general Dehn, two new gates were built in the inner wall, which replaced the Gate of North GC38XED. These were Poniatowski's Gate (1836) between the I and II bastion, and Dabrowski's Gate (1837) between III and IV. Both were two-storey, defensive with bridges leading to them (the entry was on the higher floor). There were half-round artillery towers built in front of each gate.

The gates were bricked up and converted into stores after World War II, when the roads were digged throuh inner wall. Bridges were demolished, but there are still brick pillars near Dabrowski's Gate.

Here you must locate the entrance to the tunnel in the ground floor of gate. Get into it (beware of broken glass). Go to the end of the tunnel to the bricked up well. Now turn back, geocache.is few metres before this well.
