Zamczysko is a XII / XIII century keep which served as a defense point against pagan tribes' raids from the north-east. Located at the edge of a swamp it was surrounded by double line of earthworks protected by moats. Today it's hidden in the impressive forest of 200/300 years old trees and is one of a must-see places in Kampinos National Park
A perfect place for a bike ride or a walk. If you choose to go by car be prepared for a 1-3 km walk along the paths since serious restrictions apply for any motorised traffic in the area.
