APDŚ#24 I POWSTANIE ŚLĄSKIE

I Powstanie Śląskie wybuchło w nocy z 16 na 17 sierpnia 1919 roku i było odpowiedzią na wzmagające się niemieckie represje i terror wobec polskich działaczy i ludności cywilnej. Przyczyną wybuchu było zabicie przez Niemców przed kopalnią "Mysłowice" 7 górników, 2 kobiety i 13 - letniego chłopca. Na czele stanął A. Zgrzebniok. Powstańczy poddali się 24 sierpnia.
