The first church in Kurdwanów was built between 1612-15, it's fouder was Mikolaj Kurdwanowski. The church, which now stands here was built in Miedniewice in 1676, but in 1737 he was moved to (in Miedniewice, brick church was built). And the first church from Kurdwanów was moved to Puszcza Marianska (it burned in 1993, now partially reconstructed).
In the nineteenth century local population got very poor, and the church was abandoned. Before it got totally ruined, priest Wincenty Biederman discovered at the beginning of the twentieth century interest in the church and urged count Sobanski to carry out the repair. The current appearance, church gained in the years 1934-38, when it was enlarged, and the bell-tower was added.
