The Holy Mountain Grabarka is one of the most important orthodox sanctuaries in Poland. Every year on the 19th of August hundreds of people come to celebrate the feast of the Transfiguration there. For many people Grabarka is a magical hill covered with crosses and surrounded by high pines at the bottom of which there is a miraculous stream. It has very symbolical meaning as according to the old records on the Holy Mountain the miracle has happened. It is also the place where the first monastery after the 2nd World War in Poland was built.
