Description PL

Budynek domu towarowego wybudowany ok. 1904 roku w stylu wczesnego modernizmu. Jego niemiecka nazwa - Kaufhaus - dała nazwę osiedlu robotniczemu zlokalizowanemu w sąsiedztwie obiektu. Rudzki Kaufhaus stanowi jeden z pierwszych domów towarowych na terenie Europy, jest o rok starszy od londyńskiego Harrodsa i o trzy lata od berlińskiego Kaufhaus des Westens.
