Celem założenia skrzynki jest przybliżenie ciekawych miejsc odpoczynku na terenie Rudy Śląskiej. Park "Strzelnica' kiedyś teren z basenem i wyciągiem narciarskim dzisiaj miejsce spacerów, imprez plenerowych i wyczynów kolarzy górskich. Warto zobaczyć zagrodę zwierząt domowych. Polecamy to  miejsce do  odwiedzin z małymi dziećmi.
