Description PL

Wzdłuż wybrzeża poprzez 4 km ciągną się fortyfikacje przeciwdesantowe Batalionowego Rejonu Umocnionego nr 2 Hel, powstały one w latach 1953-56. Pierwotnie długość umocnień wynosiła 14,5 km, a w ich skład wchodziły m.in.: stanowiska ogniowe karabinów maszynowych, stanowiska dowodzenia, punkty obserwacyjne, stanowiska ogniowe dla czołgów, moździerzy itp., przeszkody przeciwpancerne i przeciwpiechotne, magazyny amunicyjne, punkty medyczne, a to wszystko połączone rowami strzeleckimi i transzejami.
