When we walk along calm streets near Ursus railway station, we won’t rather expect to find a helicopter. But, in fact, it “landed” on the top of a garage at Sosnkowskiego street. It is an advertisement of a music equipment company.
Mi-2 is one of most popular types of helicopters, not only in Poland, but in most countries of former eastern block. It was designed in USSR, but it was produced (in many versions) in Polish factory PZL Świdnik from 1960s until 1980s. Many of those helicopters still fly until today, they are used by Army or by Border Guards. But it is already a quite outdated construction, so they are successively withdrawn. Some of them come then to museums or private people. Sometimes they are used then as an advertisement, such as this one.
