Insurgents Pinetree is a 170-year old tree which served as gallows; young Polish insurgents, taken prisoner after the battle of Zaborów Leśny on 14.04.1863, were hanged here by their Cossack captors.
Today you can still have a look at the impressive remains of the huge tree. At its side rests a stone - a monument to the fallen soldiers of the January Uprising of 1863.
