About this spot:
One of my favorites locations in Gdynia - neighborhood of old Marine Station and Gombrowicz Square with it's mix of marine and light industrial feel. In the centger of the Square you will find a monument devoted to People of the Sea raised in 1965. Just East from the monument there is also a XVI century anchor found by "Koziorozec" research vessel.Further to the East there is an old Marine Station building (1932). French Wharf next to it was a place where in the first half of XX century many Polish transatlantic ships going to USA and Brasil had moored. Nowadays it is a stop for the biggest cruisers comming into Tricity. In the old Marine Station building an Emigration Museum is planned.
North from the Gombrowicz Square you will find Harbour Master Office and a small spit from which you can take a look on the Gdynia Port entrace and on the naval port.

Directions:
Road from the Kaszubski square to Gombrowicz square is 1.6 km long (to the North from the Kaszubski square). You can take a walk, ride by bike, bus ("Dworzec Morski" bus stop) or a car.

Cache is safetly anchored between the People Of The Sea monument and Marine Station building.
