Rezerwat "Olsy Płoszyckie" położony jest w północno - wschodniej części gminy Lelis, w obrębie geodezyjnym miejscowości Długi Kąt, niedaleko wsi Płoszyce. Powierzchnia rezerwatu "Olsy Płoszyckie" wynosi 140,86 ha, z czego 139,61 ha stanowi własność Skarbu Państwa w zarządzie Nadleśnictwa Ostrołęka oraz 1,25 ha własności prywatnej, w tym 137,98 zajmują drzewostany, 0,33 ha - łaki ha i 2,55 ha linie podziału powierzchniowego. Całkowita długość granicy rezerwatu wynosi 7,6 km.
